A short Bio of our Guest speaker:
Naqib Sarwary is the Philanthropy Specialist at Amnesty International Australia. Deeply passionate about human rights, Naqib has been raising funds for the human rights movement for more than seven years in the US, Canada, and Australia.
Identifying as a global citizen, Naqib fled Afghanistan as a refugee in 2017. Since then he has been an advocate of human rights raising money and awareness on various platforms about the rights of refugees and the need for better access to education in his homeland, Afghanistan.
Naqib is also the founder of Camp Afghanistan - a volunteer-run initiative preparing Afghan high school students for international education opportunities.
