Seniors Hope

Join us tonight to hear from Peter Los of Seniors Hope. Their mission is to foster connections between local churches and nearby aged care centres facilitating one-on-one visits between church volunteers and aged care residents. They are dedicated to building lasting friendships, offering companionship, and instilling hope.  Seniors Hope is a ministry committed to alleviating isolation and loneliness among residents of aged care facilities through meaningful friendships and companionship. They aim to provide emotional support and genuine friendship by building relationships that develop hope. Seniors Hope is a project of several local churches in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. Their program is inspired by the success of 'Kids Hope', a similar initiative that has effectively nurtured supportive relationships for children in need. Leveraging this proven model, they have tailored their  approach to focus on the unique needs of the elderly, recognising the profound impact that regular, heartfelt interactions can have on their well-being.
