"Holy Fools Inc. began in 2009 as a dream of Neal Taylor, Founder and CEO, who aspired to see great changes in our community towards those homeless or disadvantaged. Having recently completed a Diploma of Community Welfare work and volunteering with The Dining Room in Croydon (and assisting in the set-up of Vive Cafe), Neal foresaw a greater need than just providing a nutritious meal. He began working as a chaplain with those attending the meals, accompanying community members to Court sessions, police station interviews, medical visits, and assisting with travel or navigating the ‘systems’.

Holy Fools Inc. is a grassroots, not-for-profit charity that operates independently. Our vision is for a Yarra Ranges where everyone experiences home. But we don’t work alone. Our mission is to end homelessness in the Yarra Ranges by 2030, and we’re doing it alongside our community and colleagues. Holy Fools tirelessly provides support, advocacy, care, physical aid, and resources to those experiencing homelessness in our community."
