Quilts for Orphans (QFO)

Libby and Annette will share the Quilts for Orphans story which began in 2007 when a group of ladies started making quilts for children in Indian orphanages. Since then, thousands of QFO 'fabric hugs' have been gifted locally to family, refugee and domestiv violence organisations, aged care homes and hospitals, and globally to Inida, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Lesotho, ehtipia, Timoe Leste and Afghanistan. |

Speeches from the Club heat held in August

The first, second and third placed competitors at our heat on 14 August will join us to present their 3 minute speeches to all members and guests. The first and (possibly) second placed competitiors will go through to the final in November so this is great practice in public speaking to an unknown audience. Primary School Speech Contest competitotrs are Grade 5 and Grade 6 students from local primary schools. More information to come! |

This is truly an inspirational story of how Kate's personal domestic violence journey has resulted in Pinchapoo who are now the leading the way in the fight against hygiene poverty in Australia. |
